# How to Setup Wallet

There are several factors to consider when choosing a wallet. One of the biggest ones is if it supports the tokens you with to hold or trade. A great example is that you would not choose to use MetaMask if your purpose is to hold Ripple (XRP). To keep things short, [MetaMask](https://metamask.io/) and [Trust Wallet](https://trustwallet.com/) are two of the more popular wallets in use today with regards to DeFi.

### Which Blockchain?

Two of the most popular blockchains in the DeFi space today are **Ethereum** and **Binance Smart Chain (BSC)**. They are similar, but they are separate chains from one another. This means that your assets on Ethereum chain do not exist on the Binance Smart Chain and vice versa. This is very important to note.

When withdrawing assets like BNB or BUSD from Binance to your MetaMask wallet, make sure you select **BEP20** as the network. Failure to do so might lead to you losing your funds.

### Summing Up

Wallets commonly used are [MetaMask](https://metamask.io/) and [Trust Wallet](https://trustwallet.com/). On either wallet, ALWAYS make sure you are on the **Binance Smart Chain** when trying to transact on iBG.
